Method
Each indicator was taken from Our World in Data's public chart data on 22 October 2026: the chart's CSV file of entity, code, year and value, and its metadata file of title, unit and citation. The figures have not changed since.
- Values are given with the digits Our World in Data published. Nothing is rounded, adjusted, filled in or estimated here.
- Rows without a value are left out, so a year missing from a table has no published figure.
- Countries and regions are named as Our World in Data names them, and regions are its aggregates.
- A country's page also answers to its three-letter ISO code, which redirects to the page.
- When Our World in Data revises a series, this site keeps the frozen version. Each source page gives the date the series was last updated.
The same figures, fetched live rather than frozen, are served by evidence-tools, an MCP server whose base_rate tool answers one figure at a time.
This site is run to study how software agents use reference figures. The terms say what is recorded.
